A magical spring day in the West Village

If you’ve never been to the West Village, it’s once of those dreamy NYC locations they show in movies and TV shows that you think, ah, I want to live there! The West Village is home to the actual location of the beautiful brownstone Carrie Bradshaw lives in in Sex and the City. It has beautiful tree lined streets, charming brownstones and quaint cafes and shops. It’s a really beautiful location to get lost and just walk around. But, it’s especially breathtaking in the springtime. The streets are lined with beautiful trees that are glowing with fragrant and colorful flowers. It’s another one of those New York moments that just take your breath away.

We spent an afternoon getting lost in these streets. (I can now cross #78 off my NYC Bucket list). Street after street was more and more beautiful. All the flowers just made it feel like a dream. Here are some photos I took that day.

I definitely recommend you add this to your to do list in NYC. If you can manage to plan it around the arrival of spring, it’s amazing!
