Autumn in Central Park
NYC is stunning in every season. BUT, autumn in New York is my absolute favorite time of year! As we head into the fall season I’m already excited for pumpkin spice flavored everything, sweaters, cool crisp temps and the beautiful autumn leaves! Central Park is simply magical in the month of October. If you are planning a trip to see the beautiful leaves, try to plan around Halloween. Since moving to the Northeast a few years ago I’ve enjoyed every autumn season and make it a point to always visit Central Park. I personally am not much of a warm weather person, so this is probably why autumn is one of my favorite times during the year. I just love being able to go outside with a sweater on, enjoy a nice cup of coffee and not be sweating. There is noting more perfect than an afternoon spent in Central Park in the fall. When the leaves are colorful, I could sit in Central Park for hours. If you’re wondering where the best spots are to check out…everywhere. Seriously, just walk around Central Park. There are miles of trails and park benches. It’s truly stunning. When a gust of wind blows and the colorful leaves fall from the trees it feels like your on a movie set it’s so beautiful! Most of the leaves are still green right now in the Northeast, but we will begin to see colors on the trees in the next few weeks.
