Laundry with a Grilled cheese
An East Village cafe that offers laundry services while you get a grilled cheese and beer has recently been featured on CNN Money, TIME, and gothamist. The cafe called The Wash House has a hip atmosphere offering a cool coffee house vibe. The gothamist describes is as:

For $1 per pound, The Wash House will take care of your laundry on a next-day basis (there’s also the option to pony up for same-day service), much like your local laundromat.

This quote was from an interview on CNN Money:
“Our coffee shop is a bar, cafe and a laundromat. It’s a winning formula,” said 31-year old Lee Kerzner, a native New Yorker who opened the Wash House in the East Village last month. “The response from the local community has been amazing. We’re doing more laundry than we ever expected and selling out of coffee.”
